If you are not comfortable with appearance or adjustment of email folders, emails list or email contents you can change layout of Mozilla thunderbird. In this article we will learn how to change layout of Mozilla thunderbird.
- Go to start and search for thunderbird.
- Click on thunderbird to open it.
- Enter primary password and click on sign in.
- You will see default layout after that was set by default while installing thunderbird.
- Now go to menu.
- Click on view.
- Click on layout.
- You will have
- Classic Layout: This is default layout you will have after installing Mozilla thunderbird. In this layout you will have email contents area below your email lists.
- Wide View: In this view area of email contents will be extended on left for wider view of email contents.
- Vertical View: In this view email folders, email lists and email contents will be arranged to view vertically.
- Folder Pane: This option enables a pane above email folders list using which you can change arrangements of folders or view specific folders of email list in main window.
- Folder Pane Columns: This options enables a folder pane above your email folders lists, using this pane you can change width of folder name and number of emails in folder.
- Message Pane: Using this pane you can make email contents area to appear or disappear from Mozilla thunderbird's default window.
- If you click on unified folders inboxes from all emails will be displayed together.
- This works when you have logged in multiple emails, which we will cover in another video.
