Namste users were waiting for data packages by Nepal Telecom. After Nepal Telecom (NTC) introduced data packs due to which, it has been easy to subscribe and surf internet in cheaper rate. It provides more data usage in cheaper rate than other network providers in Nepal. NTC data plans can be activated using USSD code or through SMS.


Procedure to activate NTC data packs using USSD code:
  • Go to your dial pad and dial *#1415#.
  • You will see a list of data packs available. Type number for data pack you want to activate. Example: If you want to activate 1GB per day data pack which is listed in 3 number. Type 3 and send it.
  • You will see list of volume and number of days available for that data pack. Type number from the list that you want to activate. Example: If you want to activate 7GB@Rs250 7 days data pack which is listed in 2 number. Type 2 and send it.
  • Selected data pack will be subscribed on your number and you can browse internet at cheaper rate.


Instructions to activate data plans by message:
  • If you want to activate 1 GB data for 1 day. Type "DATA55MB" without quotes and send SMS to 1415.
  • If you want to activate Unlimited data, voice and SMS for 1 hour. Type "FDPACK" without quotes and send SMS to 1415.
  • If you want to activate 12 GB data for 42 days. Type "DATA12GB" without quotes and send SMS to 1415.
