Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited [Nepal Telecom (NT)] is the largest ADSL or PSTN Landline . Nepal Telecom central is located at Bhadrakali Plaza, Kathmandu. It has total of 262 telephone exchanges in various parts of Nepal. Nepal Telecom servers more than 6,00,000 PSTN lines as of 2011.
Due to large use of it's service there are lots of complains regarding ADSL and PSTN service. So for convenience of users it has modern customer contact system with landline telephone maintenance service to receive, register and resolve problem promptly and effectively.
You can register your complain for telephone maintenance using landline using the procedure on this post:
- Dial 198 for using any PSTN landline that is currently working.
- Select the appropriate language (Nepali or English).
- Select the type of complain you want to register following the voice instruction.
- Select if want to register a number for maintenance, dialing appropriate number.
- Dial the number you want to get repaired with are code. Format: 0-xxx-xxxxxx i.e. 0-area code-phone number.
- Confirm the complain telephone number listening voice.
- Press appropriate button after confirmation.
- Dial mobile number to contact you for any further details.
Maintenance of telephone will take few days and you will receive call after it is repaired.
