CA Foundation May 2019 exams were held in the month of June. The exams were prolonged for 14 days due to the election. The result will also be announced after a delay of 14 days on 14th August 2019. The CA Foundation result 2019 was earlier expected to be out on 30th July 2019. The old course Common Proficiency Test or CPT result is already announced on 18th July 2019 and now there will be no CPT exams held as this was the last attempt.
CA Foundation Pass Percentage is expected to be almost similar than the previous attempt results. But what if you are not satisfied with the marks. This article is an informational piece on how can apply for verification after CA Foundation results. Read further to check the verification procedure.

CA Foundation 2019 exam Answer Sheet Verification.
Why do students opt for verification? The main reasons to opt for verification is because of dissatisfaction in the evaluation process or in marks. When you attempt the exam with confidence and expect a good CA Foundation 2019 result you are disappointed when the result is not up to your expectation you blame either the invigilator, or the marking scheme, or even doubt the totalling errors or omission of answers. And to satisfy your grief it is possible to apply for verification of answer sheet.
But how can I apply for verification after CA Foundation Result?
This is an online process which requires few steps to follow to file an application for rechecking/ verification of the answer sheet, But before we understand the process let us know the limitation of the verification process.
Limitation of CA Foundation Verification Process
- The application for verification can only be initiated after acquiring the certified answer sheet of the particular paper.
- The application for verification should be placed within 1 month of the declaration of the result.
- The paper 3 and paper 4 of CA Foundation 2019 exam are of MCQ pattern, hence only OMR sheet will be received as a certified answer sheet, The MCQ paper will not be given to students.
- The handwritten Application with details like Student Name, SRO, roll no, name of exam papers to be verified need to be uploaded with the online application.
Process for applying for verification after CA Foundation 2019 Result.
Follow the simple steps to apply for verification of answer sheet:
1. Go to ICAI official website ICAiexam.icai .org
2. Access your dashboard with a unique username and password already generated by you.
3. Select the “apply now” link available under verification tab
4. Select the examination. the paper you have appeared and you want to verify
5. Enter your bank details to initiate a return in case if there is any change in marks after verification procedure.
6. Upload the handwritten application. (make sure you mention the same papers to verify in both handwritten application and online application, in any differences only handwritten application will be considered).
7. A data entry screen will appear which will auto-generate all the necessary details like name, address, phone number, email id, registration number, and medium of the examination.
8. After checking all the details Press Confirm to submit your application
9. After submission of application, you will be routed towards the payment window.
10. After paying the verification fees your verification process will be completed, if no discrepancy is found you get a message on-screen “transaction successful “ with details like roll no, papers applied for verification, the amount paid, transaction number, control no, etc.
11. If control no contains ‘0’or ‘null’ in its field, then there has been some problem and you need to fill the form again.
Time Involved in the Verification Process
The verification process takes almost a month and a half to complete and revert. However, all those students who do not receive the response latest up to 15 days before commencement of the next exam, should try to solve the query by sending an email to

Well, it should be noted that intimation is only sent to those students whose marks are changed in the verification process.

Scenario after Verification
The verification procedure may be responsible for the following scenario:
No change of marks: If no changes are made in marks after the verification process, then a message of “No Discrepancy,“ will be displayed on your dashboard.
Change in Marks: A Written letter is sent to the students whose marks are revised at the address mentioned by him/her in his/her application. The changes are also registered and uploaded on the website, and a new statement of marks is issued and sent by post.
