Many
applications are developing for Windows and they require .Net Framework to run
on your laptop or PC. In windows 8 .Net Framework 4.5 is pre-installed but to
run older programs and games which were developed before windows mostly use
.Net Framework 3.5, 3.0 or 2.0 need to install .Net Framework 3.5 to run on
your PC so it is good idea to install it before some program ask for it to run.
Here
I have got easiest way to install .Net Framework 3.5 in your windows 8 PC which
will let you use your older programs which requires .Net Framework 3.5 easily.
Requirements:
- Windows
8 Installation disc
- A tiny
software dot (.) Net Framework Offline Installer of 230 KB [download it
from the links below]
Procedure:
- Download
software Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Offline Installer.
- Insert Windows 8 Installation Disc in DVD drive.
- Run
downloaded program Microsoft ".NET Framework 3.5 Offline
Installer".
- Right
click on it.
- Then
click on run as administrator.
- You
will see below screen.
- Click
on browse and choose "E:\sources\sxs" as installation source. [If your DVD drive is E:\]
- Click
on "Start Installation".
- Then
wait until installation process is completed.
- That’s all you have to do and dot Net framework is installed.
If you have internet connection you can install it directly online.
- Go to control panel.
- Click on program and features.
- Click on turn windows features on or off on the left side of screen.
- Tick on .NET framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0).
- Click on OK and .Net framework will be installed online.
